1. Agreement and operator
By downloading, accessing, or using Journvia, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Apple Standard End User License Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What Journvia provides
Journvia is a lifestyle journal for recording journeys, transport segments, light activity marks, notes, landmarks, and informational forecasts. Some features may use optional location, iCloud, notifications, or Apple in-app purchase services after you grant the relevant permission.
Journvia is not a navigation, emergency, medical, employment-monitoring, or evidence-preservation service.
3. Eligibility and safe use
- You must be legally able to accept these terms or have valid parent or guardian authorization.
- Do not interact with Journvia while driving, cycling, crossing roads, or whenever attention to the device would be unsafe or unlawful.
- Do not rely on timers, forecasts, inferred locations, or notifications for emergencies, safety-critical decisions, payroll, legal proof, or medical care.
- Follow traffic, transport, workplace, and local laws and the rules of places you visit.
4. License and prohibited conduct
Subject to these terms and Apple's license terms, you receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use Journvia on permitted Apple devices.
- Do not misuse, disrupt, scrape, probe, or bypass security or entitlement controls.
- Do not reverse engineer or redistribute the app except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- Do not use Journvia to violate another person's privacy, intellectual property, safety, or other rights.
- Do not upload malicious, unlawful, or infringing content.
5. Your content
You retain rights in notes, labels, places, and other content you create. You are responsible for its accuracy, legality, and backups. You grant the operator only the limited rights needed to operate features you request, such as processing a record on device or through your private iCloud database.
Avoid recording another person's sensitive information without permission. The operator does not moderate or routinely access private on-device or private CloudKit content.
6. Apple, location, and iCloud
Apple services are provided by Apple and governed by Apple's terms. Permissions can be changed in iOS settings. Availability, synchronization, and backups may depend on your Apple Account, device, network, region, and Apple service status.
7. Paid features
If Journvia offers Pro features, the price, billing period, renewal terms, trial, and included features will be shown before purchase. Apple processes App Store payments. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings. Refunds are handled under Apple's rules and mandatory local consumer law.
A one-time purchase or subscription grants access only under the offer displayed at purchase. Features may change, but mandatory consumer rights are not limited.
8. Availability and changes
The operator may maintain, improve, suspend, or discontinue features. Reasonable notice will be given for material adverse changes when required. Journvia may not be available in every country, language, device, or operating-system version.
You should export or back up important records using available tools. No service can guarantee uninterrupted operation or permanent preservation.
9. Intellectual property and feedback
Journvia, its software, design, branding, and non-user content are owned by the operator or licensors and protected by applicable law. If you voluntarily provide feedback, the operator may use it without restriction or payment, while respecting personal information under the Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, Journvia is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. The operator does not promise that inferred segments, locations, forecasts, durations, or synchronization will always be accurate, complete, secure, or available.
Nothing in these terms excludes warranties, guarantees, remedies, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections in your country.
11. Liability and termination
To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-data damages arising from use of Journvia. Any permitted aggregate cap must be interpreted subject to non-waivable law and the Apple Standard EULA.
You may stop using Journvia at any time. The operator may suspend access for serious misuse, legal necessity, or security risk, with notice where reasonably possible. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
12. Governing law, disputes, and contact
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in your jurisdiction of residence, without depriving you of mandatory protections or courts available under the law of your residence. Before bringing a formal claim, contact hengtong.li@foxmail.com so the parties can try to resolve it informally. Nothing prevents either party from seeking urgent relief or using a regulator or small-claims process where available.
